I may have posted my question in the wrong place. I have a 86 Chevy K20 with a 454/SM465/208 t case going to a Corp 14 bolt. I have a 93 Cummins 12v going in it. The big question is what trans to run. Should I run the 465 and use a Gear Vendors OD unit or swap in a NV4500? Or swap in a Turbo 400 with a Gear Vendors OD unit?

OK. Here's the newest update. The transmission issue has been solved....I think. I got a good deal on a NV5600. I got the whole shebang. Trans, bell housing, clutch, transfer case, driveshaft, shifters all that stuff.
