So this thing came to us straight from Buckstop where the guys there made a carbon copy of a another rig that was built here a few years ago: the Nittro Gear and Axle RV. If you haven't seen that one, check it out in a back-issue of the May 2017 Diesel Power Magazine. Buckstop got the RV ready for some serious overlanding with a single rear wheel conversion, bumper, winch, some more lift and a set of 40 inch Continentals MPT 81's. The 6.0 has had a lot of work done, but it's coming out to be replaced with a fresh Reviva 6.7 Cummins.
The RV will retain the 5R110 trans, so we'll use a DCS #1357 adapter and #1235 flexplate and DCS #1160 motor mounts. This engine has a couple upgrades as well, including a DCS# exhaust manifold and an Industri al Injection Silver Bullet turbo, and a DCS#2041 fuel filter delete, and a coolant bypass. We delete the factory pump/filter from the 6.7 and typically utilize a FASS fuel system.
The 6.0 is out!
It always looks like there is soo much room to work with once the 6.0 is out. And it is actually easier to get the 6.7 in the the 6.0 out. Like it was meant to be there!
The DCS # 1160 motor mounts are on the new 6.7 Cummins.
